Thomas Jefferson was one of the most important individual throughout the history of the United States. Jefferson was the author of the declaration of independence and also he made it possible for the state of Virginia to the freedom of religion. He didn’t believe in religious either but his ideals where the inspiration that made the United States to become the powerful nation that it is nowadays. Jefferson had plantation himself and maybe that was one of the reasons why he believes that the U.S was going to be fine with an agrarian economy. Moreover, he was not agreeing with federalist ideas of a central government but for the first time in the history of the United States two different leaders, Adams as the president and Jefferson as the vice president, come to power in order to rule the country. Finally, Thomas Jefferson was the third president of the United States and he was the one that doublet the sizes of the country coast to coast after Adams’ presidency.
